FAQ of Japan colorimeter

Release:999 instrument maintenance network time:2019-10-29

In the process of using Japan colorimeter, users will always encounter such or such problems. The following questions are the common problems and solutions of Japan colorimeter collected and sorted out for you. Users who need to have a look at it!

Japan colorimeter

1. After setting the display language of colorimeter to Chinese, turn on the power again and return to English. How to deal with it

Another built-in backup battery is used on the main board of spectrophotometer and colorimeter. When the battery is exhausted, it will return to its original state, and the display language will change into English or the measurement data will disappear. The built-in backup battery can be charged, so please use the supplied AC adapter to keep the power on for more than 24 hours.

2. After Japan set the display language to Japanese, it turned on the power again and returned to English.

The CR-400 / cr-410 uses an additional built-in backup battery instead of a power supply.

If the capacity of the backup battery is exhausted, it will return to the initial state and the display language will change to English.

The built-in backup battery can be charged, so please use the supplied AC adapter to keep the power on for more than 20 hours.

The details of the backup battery are recorded in the operation manual.

For the method of switching to Japanese display, please refer to the user manual.

3. Why does the color difference of the same color plate increase?

When using portable color measuring instruments, users often use batteries for power supply because they can not use external power supply. When the battery power is insufficient, the voltage of the built-in light source will be insufficient, resulting in the continuous deviation of the measurement data. Therefore, when this happens, it is necessary to replace the battery or connect the external power supply.

4. What should be done if the measured data of color difference meter is not consistent with the visual result?

Even if the same color is measured, different color data can be obtained due to different instrument structures, different light sources and other settings. It is generally recommended that users use measurement methods similar to visual inspection. For example, SCE can be used for D / 8 structure instruments, and the latest △ E00 can be used for color difference formula.

5. Is the data of color difference instruments with different structures comparable?

Different color measuring instruments may have different directions of lighting and receiving light. Different directions of lighting and receiving are actually the methods for us to view color in the simulation of real life. Generally, we call them optical structures. Common ones are D / 8, D / 0, 45 / 0, etc. Generally, there are many ways of using D lighting, because it represents diffuse lighting, which is consistent with the conditions of viewing color in our real life. There is no direct comparability or conversion formula for the data measured by instruments with different optical structures. After all, when we actually view the color, the color senses obtained by different viewing methods are also different.
