When many users use the instrument, they will cause various "problems" due to the lack of battery voltage. These so-called problems do not need maintenance, only need to replace the battery or charge the battery to solve the problem. So, if the battery voltage is insufficient, what specific problems will appear in all kinds of instruments? Below we list some problems that are easy to occur due to insufficient battery voltage (the unified solution is to replace the battery or charge it):
(1) the power supply voltage of the battery of the instrument is insufficient, which may result in failure to start the instrument. Many electronic devices have the lowest starting voltage. When the voltage is lower than this value, they cannot be started. Optical instruments and mobile phones are the same.
(2) the chromatic aberration of the same color plate measured by the chromatic aberration meter will increase continuously, or the result measured by the chromatic aberration meter will be abnormal. When the power of the built-in or used battery of the instrument is insufficient, the measurement data will continuously deviate due to the insufficient voltage of the built-in light source.
(3) when setting the system display language, turn on the power again and return to English, or the measurement data and white correction data will disappear. The main board of spectrophotometer and colorimeter will have extra backup battery. When the backup battery is exhausted, it will return to the initial state, and the display language will become English or the measurement data will disappear. The built-in backup battery can be charged, so please use the supplied AC adapter to keep the power on for more than 24 hours.
(4) as soon as the instrument colorimeter is measured, the data will all become 000. Maybe the white correction data is missing. First, please confirm the status of the white correction data. The confirmed operation method is recorded on p.25 of the operation manual. The loss of white correction data or measurement data may also be due to the reduced voltage of the built-in backup battery. The operation method is the same as Article 3.
(5) when CR-10 colorimeter turns on the power to measure target, it will display "illumination error". Turn the power supply off → on, and there is still an error. It may be a broken filament or a faulty measuring circuit. If a new battery still shows this error, it needs to be returned to the factory for repair.
(6) the glossmeter cannot be calibrated because the battery voltage is insufficient.
User's suggestion for insufficient battery voltage of the instrument:
If the instrument is rechargeable battery, the special power adapter distributed by the instrument must be used to charge the battery.
If it is determined that the instrument will not be used for a long time, please remove the battery to avoid the damage caused by the leakage of the battery;
When using the instrument, please pay attention to the battery capacity on the instrument. If the battery capacity is insufficient, please replace the battery or charge it in time.
