The new generation of these two instruments is an outstanding successor of CS-100A, whose functions and performance have been improved.
The two instruments have a wider range of measurement, and the new sensor they use is more consistent with the CIE 1931 color matching function.
To achieve accurate brightness measurement, the relative spectral sensitivity of the measuring instrument should perfectly match the visual sensitivity of the human eye.
